The Local Yolk is the bright, fun and young sister brand created for the local people of Lake Macquarie, Hunter & Central Coast regions as a side kick of Lake Macquarie Free Range Eggs, owned by Farmdale Pty Ltd.
When you order The Local Yolk Free Range Eggs, your eggs are delivered direct to you, from us, the farmer each and every week!
We wanted to create a brand which is nice on the eye and jumps out at you every time you open your fridge and we believe The Local Yolk does just that.

We Deliver to all the yolkals
We deliver to Lake Macquarie & Newcastle and most suburbs of the Central Coast. We now also deliver to Sydney and some Hunter & Port Stephens areas.
CENTRAL COAST*
Tuesday delivery.
*All suburbs East of the freeway on the Central Coast and as far north to Doyalson. Anything along or north of Rutleys Rd will be included on our Thursday Lake Macquarie Run.
NEWCASTLE
Wednesday delivery.
LAKE MACQUARIE (WEST SIDE OF LAKE)
Wednesday delivery.
Includes areas around Bonnells Bay, Rathmines, Morisset and Cooranbong, and all suburbs between Morisset & Toronto.
HUNTER/PORT STEPHENS
Thursday delivery.
Includes Maitland & Cessnock Areas.
LAKE MACQUARIE (EAST SIDE OF LAKE)
Friday delivery.
Also includes any suburbs along or north of Rutleys Rd.

Orders for local areas next day delivery close at 10am each day, so if you order after 10am, your order will be delivered the next week on your areas specified delivery day.

Delivery Questions
If you have any questions or concerns about your delivery, please contact us within 48 hours of your delivery.
If there is an issue with unreasonable cracked eggs, please provide a photo of the used by date and cracked eggs, and email it to us at egg@lakemacfreerange.com.au
Please note that credits and/or refunds will only be issued if we are contacted within 48 hours of your delivery.
Hen Welfare
Our hens are free range and free to roam outside in the paddocks 10+ hours a day. They sleep and lay their eggs inside our purpose built barn. This protects them at night from predators and also during extreme weather. It also provides a clean environment for the eggs to be collected.
In addition to what they eat in the paddocks, our hens have access to layer mash feed to ensure they don’t get hungry.
